Algis Performance — Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using the Algis Performance application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the App.
The App is provided by Algis Performance ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Algis Performance.
2. Who can use the App
You may create an account if you are at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Children under 13 may use the App only by being invited by a coach who has obtained verifiable consent from the child's parent or legal guardian. By redeeming an invite on behalf of an athlete under 13, the inviting coach represents and warrants that such parental or guardian consent has been obtained, and Algis Performance is entitled to rely on that representation.
Coaches and head coaches who invite minors to the App are solely responsible for obtaining and retaining appropriate parental or guardian consent under applicable law (including, where relevant, COPPA in the United States and GDPR-K in the European Union and United Kingdom).
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@algisperformance.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your profile up to date.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the App, or expose other users to harm.
4. What the App does
The App helps athletes log daily wellness check-ins (sleep, energy, mood, soreness, body-zone feedback, and related measurements) and helps coaches review their athletes' readiness trends. We compute a "readiness score" from your check-in inputs to help you make informed training decisions.
The readiness score, body screening, measurements, and any other outputs of the App are wellness information only. The App is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about training, nutrition, injury, or health. If you feel unwell or suspect an injury, stop training and seek medical attention.
5. Coach–athlete relationships
The App allows coaches and athletes to connect through invite links. Once you accept an invite:
- Your coach can view your check-in history, readiness scores, trends, soreness/body-zone data, and session ratings they record about you.
- You can revoke a coach–athlete relationship at any time by contacting support; we will sever the relationship and stop sharing future data with that coach.
By accepting an invite, you consent to this data sharing for the duration of the relationship.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the data you submit to the App (check-ins, notes, measurements, body-zone feedback). You grant Algis Performance a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display that data solely so we can operate the App, provide it to you and your connected coaches, and improve our services. We will not sell your personal data, and we will not share it with third parties for advertising. Our data handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
- Submit false or misleading health information about yourself or another person.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Impersonate another person, including a coach, athlete, parent, or guardian.
- Use the App to harass, intimidate, or harm another user.
8. Third-party services
The App uses Supabase as its backend infrastructure provider. Your data is stored and processed on Supabase's systems under our instructions. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of your device platform (Apple App Store or Google Play).
9. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the App at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@algisperformance.com. We will delete your account within a reasonable period unless we are legally required to retain certain information.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation of your account would expose Algis Performance or other users to meaningful harm.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any wellness metric or recommendation is clinically accurate or appropriate for your circumstances.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Algis Performance and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Algis Performance is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
